President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and with him member of the Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, received today, Tuesday, at Ma’ashiq Palace in the interim capital, Aden, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, Muhammad Saeed Al Jaber, who conveyed to president Al-Alimi and other members of the Council the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The meeting touched on the situation on the Yemeni arena, and the economic and service reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, with the support of the Coalition led by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting also discussed Saudi mediation efforts to renew the truce, alleviate human suffering, cease-fire, and opportunities to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the Saudi efforts in this regard, based on its early initiative to bring peace to Yemen, and to achieve the people's aspirations to end the coup of the Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime, and to restore state institutions, security, stability and development.
