Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abd al-Rahman al Mahrami, discussed today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of our country's embassy in Abu Dhabi, with the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, the latest developments in the Yemeni file and the international efforts exerted to revive the path of lasting peace.
During the meeting Mahrami listened to a detailed briefing from the UN envoy on the results of his recent meetings and visits
at the local and regional levels, and the upcoming plan of the United Nations Office to stop the war and establish lasting peace.
Al-Mahrami renewed the keenness and commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to support the efforts of the UN envoy and all regional and international mediators aimed at ending the war, addressing the humanitarian situation, and restoring state institutions.
