The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba stated that the Yemeni state undertakes its constitutional and sovereign responsibility to protect its citizens, lands, coasts, ports and territorial waters, and that enabling its institutions to carry out this responsibility is a key element for the security of Bab al-Mandeb, the Red Sea and international navigation and trade.

Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, Abdussalam al-Awadhi held discussions today, Thursday, with the Secretary General of the Kenyan Foreign Ministry Abraham Korir over bilateral relations between the two countries.

The conversations also touched upon the developments in Yemen including the government's efforts to allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering, support the UN-led efforts to establish peace.

The Kenyan official affirmed his government's support for the Presidential Leadership Council's efforts to establish peace through dialogue to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
