Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Beijing Mohammed al-Maitami met today, Thursday, with the Chinese Special Envoy to Middle East Zhai Jun.
They discussed the developments in Yemen including the ongoing regional and international efforts to end the war and reach a comprehensive political settlement to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
Al-Maitami praised China's supportive stances in support of Yemen, legal leadership and UN-led efforts to make peace.
The Chinese Special Envoy confirmed his country's support for Yemen, its unity, sovereignty, stability and territorial integrity.
Mr. Jun also reiterated China's support for the Presidential Leadership Council, government and regional and international efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
