MASAM removes 804 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to pull out 804 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the fourth week of March 2023 planted and left by Houthi militias in different governorates.

KSrelef Center reported that MASAM's deminers removed 180 anti-tanks landmines, 620 UXO and 4 explosives devices.

This brings total landmines removed in March up to 3316.

Since it has started its demining mission in 2018 MASAM removed 393 thousand and 22 landmines, all were laid down randomly by the Houthi militiamen all over the Yemeni regions.
