Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik stated that it is very important to get sustainable solutions to the shortages of power through establishing gas-fired power stations to increase the electricity generate capacities.
" We've to find long-lasting and economical solutions to develop the electricity generate capabilities including gas-fired power plants", said Ma'een.
His remarks came during the meeting of the High Council for Energy held today, Thursday, in the temporary capital Aden.
The session devoted to discuss the problems facing electricity sector and explore quick solutions to improve the electricity services in the temporary capital Aden and government-held regions.
The Prime Minister stated that the government is very keen to take every necessary measure to improve the electricity service and it will keep on its efforts aiming to achieve significant reforms in the electricity sector.
