The Republic of Yemen expressed its strong condemnation of Israeli settlers' storming of the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in preventing these repeated provocations to the feelings of Muslims around the world, warning of the repercussions of these violations to the sanctity of holy places and the sanctity of this holy month among Muslims.
The Ministry reaffirmed the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the international resolutions.
