Oil Minister discusses with French ambassador petroleum investment in Yemen

Miniter of Oil and Minerals Saeed al-Shammasi discussed Sunday with French Ambassador to Yemen Jean-Marie Safa cooperation aspects and economic and investment partnership in oil sectors.
Minister al-Shammasi provided details on recent situations in Yemen over Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on oil establishments and banning exporting oil and solutions to this problem, pointing out to positive results reached by the government of Yemen and the UN on Safir Tanker Issue.
He praised French government's positions supporting Yemen's security and stability during the crisis it goes through, pointing out that the French party is strategic partner in petrol and gas sectors.
He renewed call to all French companies to return to Yemen for investment in different productive sectors.
For his part, the French diplomat pointed out to keenness of his country's government in enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, confirming French firm position supporting the government and Yemeni people during the difficult period Yemen is going through.
