Rights team reviews with an official in the Special Rapporteur's office Houthi violations against children

A rights team from the Human Association for Rights reviewed together with the working group of the Office of the Special Rapporteur on Child Exploitation at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the violations of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia against children in Yemen and their danger to the future of children.

The human rights team discussed the grave violations that children are exposed to in areas controlled by the terrorist Houthi militia, foremost of which is depriving them of the right to education, causing many children to drop out of school, recruiting child soldiers under the age of 18 and forcing them into the battlefield, endangering their lives, preventing and depriving children of the right to be vaccinated against the six deadly diseases, which caused the spread of epidemics and viruses and the return of serious diseases such as polio and measles in areas under the control of the Houthi militia.
