On the sidelines of his participation in the Council of Arab Interior Ministers meeting held in the Tunisian capital, the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haydan discussed with Qatar's Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani aspects of joint cooperation in the security field, combating crime of all kinds, and ways to enhance Security cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The Minister of Interior praised the efforts of the State of Qatar in the security aspect and its success in hosting the World Cup, which is a source of pride for all Arabs. Professionally, Qatar's leadership, government and people have achieved this impressive success.
For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior expressed his aspiration to enhance joint coordination between the two countries, in a way that serves common Arab security, stressing Qatar's interest in training and qualifying cadres and employees of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior.
The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, also met with the Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Koman.
The Minister of Interior appreciated the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in preparing for the success of the agenda of the fortieth session of the meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers and the continued role of the Secretariat in supporting the Republic of Yemen.
