Japanese delegation visits Makha for inspecting humanitarian needs

A delegation from Japanese International Voluntaries Center visited Monday Makha District, Taiz to evaluate humanitarian and service situation in the district and studying possible interventions in development and service domains.

The Secretary General of Local Council in Makha al-Anesi Qasem and directors of service offices briefed the delegation on humanitarian and service situation need humanitarian interventions.

Director of Executive Unit of Displaced Persons in Makha Mohammad al-Musawa reviewed humanitarian situations of displaced persons and hosting community under lack of humanitarian support, pointing out that the district hosts about 2800 families, who are in bad need of humanitarian support.

For their part, the two members of the Japanese delegation made it clear that their visit to Makha aims at evaluating the humanitarian and service situations and possibility of making study for future interventions.
