The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, discussed with the Acting Russian Ambassador to Yemen aspects of security cooperation between the two friendly countries and the exchange of experiences in the fields of training and rehabilitation.

During the meeting held today in Riyadh, the Minister of Interior appreciated the efforts made to enhance joint cooperation in the field of training and qualification for the officers and personnel of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior, and Russia's positions in support of the Yemeni government.

For his part, the Russian Chargé d'Affairs affirmed his country's continued support for the efforts aimed at preserving Yemen's unity and stability, and the continuation of security coordination and cooperation in all fields.
