His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Hugeness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan received, today, Monday, in Dubai Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik on the sideline of the World Governments Summit's activities.

Yemeni-Emirati bilateral relations, cooperation and the developments in Yemen was key focus of the conversations.

Dr. Ma'een voiced appreciation of the Yemeni government and peoples to the Emirati supportive stances in support of Yemen's security and stability, highly praising the Emirati leadership's keenness to support the Yemeni government's reforms and efforts to mitigate the humanitarian crisis.

The Prime Minister detailed the Emirati President on the latest developments about the situations in the Yemeni national arena, citing the government's ongoing reforms and efforts to manage the economic and humanitarian challenges amid Houthi militias' threats to oil facilities and the repercussions upon the economic and humanitarian situations.

He also highlighted the need for brothers' and friends' support for the government's reforms to achieve the desirable objectives.
The conversations also touched upon the regional and international efforts to push the political process to achieve peace amid Houthi militias' intransigence and rejection to renew the humanitarian truce, peace efforts.

The Emirati President reiterated his country's commitment to keep on supporting all efforts and good offices to achieve the Yemeni peoples' interest, contribute to Yemen's security and stability.
