Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussain Ibrahim Taha, met today with the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the Organization, Shai’a Al-Zindani.
The meeting was devoted to discussing developments in Yemen and issues of common concern.
The Secretary-General said that a peaceful solution is the only way out of the Yemeni crisis, within the framework of the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue, and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, on top of which is Resolution 2216.. stressing that the organization stands with Yemen to lift the suffering of its people and achieve what they aspire to, security, peace, stability and development.
