Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Sultan al-Eradah held discussions today, Sunday, with the American envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking and American Ambassador Steven Fagin over the latest developments about the situations in the Yemeni national arena including the ongoing efforts to push the peace, end the Yemenis' suffering.
Al-Eradah highly praised the Yemeni-American robust relations and partnership in different spheres first and foremost fighting terrorism, securing international maritime navigation and countering the constant Iranian attempts to smuggle weapons and drugs to our country and the region.
He also deeply appreciated the American administration's continuing support for the political, economic and developmental reforms have been made by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to improve basic services and the peoples' living conditions.
The Member of the Presidential Council underscored the important role of the American diplomacy in supporting the UN-led efforts to make peace and mounting pressures upon Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias to stop their continuous escalations and hostile activities, come to peace.
Al-Eradah stressed that any political process launched by the UN, backed by the International community to resolve the Yemeni crisis must be governed by the three terms of peace reference as a key basis for any political dialogue among the Yemeni parties in order to end the Yemeni peoples' suffering reach agreement for sustainable and comprehensive peace all over the country.
