The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Planning Minister discusses with WFP Deputy Executive Director paths of humanitarian action in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Bathib, discussed today in the interim capital, Aden, with the WFP's Deputy Executive Director Valerie N. Guarnieri the program's humanitarian work paths in order to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the war and the current difficult conditions.

The meeting discussed developments in the food security situation in Yemen, and efforts to enhance aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two sides, especially in emergency projects, humanitarian response and cash transfers. Minister Bathib reviewed the joint efforts between the government and partners in international organizations, especially the World Food Program, aimed at addressing the humanitarian situation, as well as the catastrophic consequences incurred on the national economy due to the attacks of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on vital economic and oil facilities, and the government's options to deal with these attacks and mitigate their effects.
