The Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basohaib discussed today in the interim capital, Aden, with the Deputy Resident Representative of UNICEF in Yemen the organization's intervention plan for the current year 2023 AD, and the strengthening of cooperation and partnership between the two sides.
The meeting touched on the national program document implemented by UNICEF with government sectors, the institutional building program, the organization’s interventions to support programs for children, juveniles and people with special needs, and the results of the multi-sectoral survey.
Dr. Basohaib stressed keenness to strengthen partnership with UNICEF, develop mechanisms of work in the humanitarian field, and improve the level of services and interventions in various sectors, especially humanitarian ones.
