Deputy Finance Minister Hani Wahhab discussed with a number of heads of European missions accredited to Yemen in the interim capital Aden headed by the European Union Ambassador to Yemen, Gabriel Vinals, developments in the economic and financial conditions, and current reform efforts aimed at improving and achieving stability in the economic situation.
During the meeting, which included a number of advisors, undersecretaries and stakeholders in the Ministry of Finance, and the ambassadors of France, Germany, Norway and Portugal, a number of issues related to moving the exchange rate for the budget, capacity building, the relationship between exchange rates and public finance, and prospects for Gulf support were discussed.
