Minister of Public Health and Population, Deputy Chair of the Executive Council of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Qasem Bahabeh contributed today, Monday, to the deliberations of the 152 Session the Council of the WHO held in Geneva.
Dr. Bahabeh proved an informative presentation about the challenges facing health sector in Yemen as a result of the Terrorist Houthi militias' coup d'état and the prolonging current conflict.
He stated that some 50% of health facilities in the country have been seriously affected, calling for further support for health sector.
