Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Vienna Haitham Shujaadin met today, Friday, with the Deputy Director General the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for Sciences and Nuclear Applies Najat Mukhtar.
Shujaadin sought for the IAEA's support for Yemen's plans to establish Centers for Cancer Treatment. He highlighted the pressing need in Yemen for cancer medication with nuclear applies.
The IAEA official demonstrated understanding for the Ambassadors' requests, affirming the AEA's willingness to cooperate with the Yemeni government in capacity building and technical assistance.
