Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak met here today, Friday, with Director of Near-East, Middle East and North Africa Region Department at the German Foreign Ministry Dr. Tobias Tonkel.
The session intended to discuss the latest developments about the situations in Yemen, explore prospects to end the war, establish peace.
BinMubarak briefed the German official on the ongoing efforts to end the war triggered by Houthis' aggression on the Yemeni peoples.
He noted that is very important to secure necessary circumstances to achieve peace, support the legitimate government politically and economically.
The conversations touched upon the Iranian spoiler role in Yemen and the necessity for dismantling Houthi-Iranian correlation to re-establish security and stability in Yemen.
The German official renewed his government's support for the UN-led efforts to make peace, maintain Yemen's unity and its territorial integrity.
