Yemen participated in the meetings of the 42nd session of the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs and Labor, at the ministerial level, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, with a delegation headed by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Al-Zaouri.
During the period from 25 to 26 January, the session will discuss a number of important files related to the areas of family, childhood, the rights of people with disabilities and the elderly, social care, productive families, and a number of areas that represent a priority for joint Arab social development work, foremost of which is the continuation of the implementation of the 2030 sustainable development plan especially in its social dimensions that affect the life of the Arab citizen, in addition to issues related to the weak and vulnerable groups in society, and issues related to efforts to eradicate poverty in its various dimensions, whose outputs will be submitted to the next Arab summit.
