Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, Ahmed Hassan met today, Monday, with the Deputy Head of General-Director of Middle East and Asia Department in the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation in the Republic of South Africa Ntompezo Dowalalli.

They discussed how to further promote bilateral relations between the two countries in different fields.

Hassan detailed the South African official on latest developments in Yemen.

He touched upon regional good offices and UN-led efforts to establish peace, noting that the Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias has continued to block peace efforts.

The South African official confirmed her government's keenness to bolster bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.
