Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al Shammasi, affirmed the ministry's commitment to start preparing a comprehensive study and equipping a technical team to go down and conduct a field survey and choose a suitable site for the transfer of oil facilities and fuel tanks located in the Khalaf area to a suitable industrial area.
During a field visit to the oil company's facilities in Khalaf in the city of Mukalla, accompanied by the governor of Hadramout Mabkhout, Mubarak bin Madi, Minister Al-Shamasi indicated the keenness of the ministry and the oil company for the safety of citizens and the work of an integrated system for occupational safety in cooperation with the Civil Defense Authority.
