Governor of Lahj governorate Maj. General Ahmed Turki highlighted the need for more international humanitarian aids and support to help improve the basic services in Kharaz Refugees Camp which includes 9800 African refugees.
He made his remark during a plenary meeting held today, Thursday, in Lahj governorate aimed to mobilize national and international efforts to handle the shortages of basic services in the Camp and within the host community.
The gathering brought together representatives of the central government, local authority and the UNHCR.
