Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani held talks today, Monday, here with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustaf Sentop.
The discussions which held on the sideline of the 13th Session of the Asian Parliamentary Association aimed to further promote parliamentary relations and cooperation.
The latest developments in the Yemeni national arena were also touched upon.
Al-Barakani provided an informative presentation about situations in Yemen amid the Terrorist Houthi militia's coup d'état, its rejection to come to peace and its constant and grave violations and atrocities.
He blamed the Iranian regime for providing the terrorist Houthi militiamen with ballistic missile and drones, enabling them to target the oil seaports and facilities.
The Speaker of Parliament expressed appreciation for the Turkish supportive stance in support of the legitimate leadership and government in Yemen, deeply appreciating the Turkish contribution to the relief and humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
He also appreciated Turkish authorities' collaboration with the Yemeni community in Turkey.
The Speaker of Turkish Parliament confirmed his country's support for the legality in Yemen, celebrated the historic relations between the two countries.
Mr. Sentop said" Turkey will continue to support the Yemeni people, offer humanitarian aids, and Turkey always stands on the side of the security, stability and unity of Yemen".
