CSOs in Marib call for imminent interferences to save displaced person

Civil Society Organizations here have called UN organizations to shoulder responsibility and swiftly send humanitarian help to rescue thousands displaced families, who are threatened by cold winter and frostbite.

In a release after concluding their elaborated meeting, which has been organized by Social and Labor Affairs in the province on two days, the organizations demanded to nationalize the humanitarian work and implement projects in accordance with the need as stated in protocols signed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and UN and international organizations.

Earlier, the representatives of CSOs discussed a number of issues associated with difficulties and challenges facing them in performing their humanitarian and right role as demanded.

They also discussed principles and standards of their partnership with UN agencies and international organizations.
