The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Sudan's President of Transitional Council receives letter from President al-Alimi

Lieutenant-General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan received Wednesday Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Mohsen al-Da'iri, who handed Al-Burhan a letter from President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi.

In the meeting, Al-Burhan welcomed al-Da'iri and the accompanying delegation, confirming deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries and expressed support to Yemeni people in their ordeal to regain security and stability.

For his part, defense minister praised big sacrifices by Sudanese people in supporting Yemeni people in their Arab battle in facing Iranian agenda carried out by Houthi terrorist militia, confirming that their blood enhances brotherly relations between the two countries.

He praised military and security cooperation with brothers in Sudan, hoping more cooperation between the two countries in different fields, especially in defense and military fields.
