Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah, along with Director of the Executive Unit of Managing Displaced People Camps in the province Saif Muthanna, opened Tuesday Ata'a al-Kuwait Housing Compound at Upper Jeffainah Displaced People Camp here.
The housing compound, which is assigned to people of special needs, is provided by the Kuwaiti Woman Team within the campaign of "Kuwait is Beside You."
After the opening activity, Miftah toured the compound inspecting the housing units and listened from the Representative of Kuwaiti Woman Team Aseel Joban and Secretary General of Sana'a Alliance Amin al-Shami to details on the project, which contains 100 housing units (caravans) with water and sanitation project.
Every unit is composed of two rooms, bathroom and kitchen with the total cost of Saudi Riyal two million.
Deputy governor handed over the keys of the units to a number of the targeted beneficiaries of the disabled people.
He praised this project, which will alleviate suffering of many families of the disabled, praising Kuwaiti humanitarian interventions in the province in different fields since the eruption of the war triggered by Houthi terrorist militia against Yemeni people.
