Council of Ministers reviews developments, takes necessary decisions

The Council of Ministers held its session today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The session devoted to discuss the general situations in the country and to address the issues need to tackled sooner not later such as dispatching students to study abroad and the employment in the diplomatic missions.

The Cabinet reviewed practical measures have been taken to redress the lists of the names of the students who have been dispatched abroad.

The Cabinet has decided to establish an academic panel to work with the a governmental team tasked with reviewing the policies and criteria of dispatching the students to study abroad. The would-be panel is also tasked with devising transparent and specific standards for dispatching the students to ensure equal opportunity and take into account the required scientific specializations.

The Council of Ministers discussed the report of the governmental panel tasked with reviewing the conditions for establishing artistic attachés and approved the recommendations which incorporated in the report.

The Cabinet touched upon the visits of the European delegation to Aden and the city of Taiz city which has been besieged for more than seven years by the Terrorist Houthis militias.
