His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Sunday, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
The session aimed to discuss the developments in Yemen and the needed efforts to bolster the economic and services reforms in the government-held regions.
The conversations touched upon bilateral relations between the two countries and the implications of the Houthis terrorist threats to the living conditions of the Yemeni peoples and the international security and peace, and the coordinated measures to contain these repercussions.
President al-Alimi highly praised the United States' efforts to implement the resolution about weapons embargo which helped intercepting several shipments sent by Iran to the Terrorist Houthi militias.
