His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, arrived today, Thursday, in the Saudi capital Riyadh to participate in the Arab-Chinese Summit which scheduled to kick off its sessions tomorrow Friday.
The Deputy of Amir of Riyadh region Prince Mohammed bin Abdurhaman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber received President al-Alim and his accompanying delegation at King Khalid airport where they official reception held for them..
The President accompanied by a delegation included member of the Presidential Council Othman Mujalli, Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr. Yahya Ashua'ibi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubark and Yemen's Permanent representative to Arab League Riyadh al-Akbari.
President al-Alimi expressed his hope that Arab-Chinese Summit will come up with significant outcomes which are in the interests of the peoples of Arab countries and the People's Republic of China.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) he said " We have great hopes that this significant summit will produce important decisions to serve the interests of the Arab and Chinese peoples, including the Yemeni peoples who are looking forward to eliminate Iran-backed Houthi militias' coup, re-establish peace, reconstruction and development".
