Kuwaiti Najat Charity has launched the projects of housing units in Taiz and Lahj for providing shelters to displaced people in the two provinces.
Member of the Charity Ehab al-Dabbous told Kuwaiti News Agency that the initiative of the charity comes within Kuwait's humanitarian role in helping afflicted people and societies and in embarking of the charity's belief in importance of the charitable work across the world.
The two projects include 51 housing units, some of them are located at al-Habadan Project in Taiz Province of 20 units while al-Ajeel Project is located in Lahj Province and includes 31 units in addition to providing a number of health facilities and mosques, said al-Dabbous.
He pointed out that these two projects, which were launched last Wednesday and Thursday, provide also water services, including digging wells, constructing tanks and networks and providing equipment for pumping water.
