President al-Alimi meets with Speaker of Jordanian Parliament

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Monday, here with the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament Ahmed Assafadi.

Members of the Presidential Council Brig. Tariq Saleh, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi , Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr. Yahya Ashua'ibi and Foreign Minister Dr. Ahmed BinMarak were in attendance.

The conversations covered the developments in Yemen and Yemeni-Jordanian bilateral ties .

President al-Alimi deeply appreciated the Jordanian key role in supporting the legitimate Yemeni leadership against Iran-baked Houthi militia's coup and hosting thousands of the Yemeni peoples in Jordan who fled the homeland due to Houthi militias' atrocities and the war it triggered.

The Speaker of Jordanian Parliament reiterated support the legitimate Yemeni leadership represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and government.
