MANAMA-SABA
Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak has said Houthi terrorist militia's acts have exceeded internal rebellion and regional threat and by targeting ports and international shipment lines this provides real confirmation that the militia poses dangerous threat to international security and peace.
In his speech he delivered before the Fifth Session of the 18th Round of the Regional Security Conference " Manama Dialogue" hosted by Bahrain for three days, BinMubarak reviewed Houthi militia's terrorist acts diminishing security and safety of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea through its sabotage practices; planting landmines, piracy, targeting oil ports by Iranian drones and using Safir Oil Tanker as blackmailing card to international community.
He confirmed that realizing peace in Yemen is considered basic insurance for maritime security and freedom of international maritime navigation and that Yemen has strategic and unique location in the world for international energy supply.
BinMubarak called upon the international community to clearly understand the nature of Houthi militia and practicing active pressure against it through designating it a terrorist organization and drying up their financial resources.
