Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

European Union condemns Houthi terrorist attack on commercial port in Shabwa

The European Union (EU) Mission and the EU countries' diplomatic missions in Yemen condemned the terrorist attack by Houthi militias against the commercial harbor of (Qena) in Shabwa governorate eastern Yemen on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

The Houthi militias carried out laden-explosives drone attack on oil tanker was unloading its shipment, some of the ship crew's staffs were injured.

The EU Mission said in a statement "The International Security Council which represents the International Community in the issues of peace and security considered the previous Houthi attack on the oil seaport of (Al-Dubba) in Hadramout governorate on 21 October,2022 a TERRORIST ATTACK".

The EU comment added" The Houthis recurrent attacks on the international navigation constitutes an insult to the fundamental rules of the Seas Law".
