Yemeni-Cuban talks held to enhance health cooperation

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasim Buhaibeh and his Cuban counterpart José Angel Portal Miranda held Saturday here talk session to enhance cooperation in health field between the two countries.

Buhaibeh reviewed health situation in Yemen since Houthi militia's coup against the state on September,21,2014 resulting on destroying health sector and its facilities, praising Cuban position supporting Yemen through scholarships, medical missions and expertise.

The Cuban minister confirmed readiness of his country to receive Yemeni scholarships, joint training and resumption of sending missions when conditions are suitable.
