Aden - Saba
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, made a phone call to the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, to discuss developments in the situation related to the Houthi militia's targeting of the oil ports in Hadhramaut and Shabwa and its reflection on the course of the UN truce.
Bin Mubarak pointed out that these terrorist Houthi acts represent a threat to security and peace in the region and a challenge to all international efforts in its efforts to extend the truce and end the suffering of the Yemeni people, and the international community must carry out its duties in condemning these terrorist acts and those behind them from the rogue Iranian regime, and labeling the group as a terrorist organization.
He pointed out that the Yemeni government has dealt with a high responsibility to end the war and make the path of the UN truce successful, but the Houthi militia's continued intransigence to thwart peace efforts and implement its threats to target the economic capabilities of the Yemeni people without any deterrent, leaves the Yemeni government to choose other paths to deal with this arrogance and that to protect its citizens, the safety of its land, its vital economic capabilities, and the safety and security of the region
