Presidential Leadership Council reviews national, regional developments
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting Today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and via video conference Tariq Saleh and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami, while Council members Sultan al-Aradah and Faraj al-Bahsani were absent with excuse.

Al-Eryani discusses with German FM truce failure

Charge d'affaires of Yemen's Embassy here Luay al-Eryani discussed Wednesday with Deputy Director of Middle East and North Africa Department in German Foreign Ministry Philip Kanbman latest developments in Yemen and failure of the humanitarian truce over Houthi terrorist militia's stubbornness.

Al-Eryani confirmed great keenness and flexibility by the government to renew the truce amid Houthi militia's rejection and blackmail, a matter requires clear international position towards the militia.

The meeting touched upon Houthi militia's fallacies on the truce and their false claims.

For his part, the German official expressed regret of Germany regarding the failure of the truce and keenness on resuming it to reach peace in Yemen.

He confirmed appreciation of German government to government's big responsibility to keep the truce and confirmed full support to efforts of the UN envoy for Yemen.
