King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to extract 739 of Houthis-laid down landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the first week of October 2022.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that MASAM's deminers removed 4 anti-personnel and 233 anti-tanks landmines, 476 UXO and 26 explosives devices from the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Hodeidah, Marib , Shabwa and Taiz.

This is brings total number of landmines removed by MASAM since it has started its mission up to 361 thousand and 312 all planted by Houthi militiamen randomly throughout all Yemeni regions.
