Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Abdulrahman al-Mahrami received Sunday Charge D'Affairs of Japanese Embassy in Yemen Kazohero Higashi, discussing with him the positive role of the Presidential Leadership Council and of the government in interaction with the international community on expanding the UN Truce.
" We are peace lovers and peace supporters and will not allow to a rebel militia group to control the fate of the Yemeni people," said al-Mahrami.
He added that Houthi militia has no social incubator neither in south nor in northern provinces due to its tyranny " I expect those provinces will rebel against it soon and Houthi will fall down from inside."
He praised Japanese support to the legitimacy represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and for Japanese clear position towards Houthi militia, hoping for more promotion of relations between the two friendly countries.
He pointed out that Japan could play significant role in reconstruction in Yemen.
For his part, the Japanese diplomat confirmed support of his country's government to the presidential leadership council and for efforts of realizing peace, praising positive position of the Presidential Leadership Council towards the truce.
He uttered readiness of his country to provide support to Yemen in different fields, pointing out that Aden Port will get the big share of those projects.
