PM congratulates Egyptian counterpart on the anniversary of October victories

Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik sent a congratulatory cable to his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, congratulating him on the 49th anniversary of the glorious victories in the Sixth of October War, 1973 AD. In his telegram, Dr. Abdulmalik expressed his and the Yemeni people's pride in the timeless battle that the Egyptian armed forces heroically fought in the October War, which changed the course of history.

He recalled in honor the sacrifices and heroisms of the valiant Egyptian army that it recorded at the time and achieved the great victory for Egypt and the Arab nation, which will remain long lasting in history and a source of pride for the entire Arab nation.

The Prime Minister praised Egypt's stances with Yemen and its remarkable and historical role in supporting the Yemeni revolutions on September 26, 1962 and October 14, 1963 AD.
