The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

General Monitor of King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center Abdullah al-Rabi'ah signed Sunday with the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen David Greasley here a memo of financial contribution of USD 10 million to tackle threat posed by Safir Oil Tanker.

The two parties discussed on the sidelines of activities of the 77th Round of the United Nations General Assembly humanitarian and relief efforts exerted in Yemen and discussing means of facing humanitarian, economic and environmental threats posed by Safir Tanker and necessary measures to avoid its potential dangers.

Al-Rabi'ah made it clear that the contribution of the kingdom comes within its efforts to rescue Safir tanker and in support to UN efforts to avoid any potential disaster could be result from leaking more than one million barrel of oil over halting maintenance work since 2015.

For his part, Greasley expressed thanks to Saudi Arabia for its efforts and support to Yemen's stability and protection of international security and peace.
