A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Moeen Abdul-Malik approved today the draft reform program related to the announced support of the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, after extensive discussion and understanding of the amendments compatible with the developments of the stage.
The meeting held with the economic team, in the temporary capital, Aden, also approved the letter of intent submitted by the Arab Monetary Fund, and authorized the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen and the Minister of Finance to sign it and send it to the Fund.
The meeting stopped in front of the most important developments, especially in the field of declared support from the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
The Prime Minister was briefed on a report on the results of the visit of the Central Bank Governor, the Minister of Finance and the accompanying technical team to the United Arab Emirates, at the invitation of the brothers in the Emirates to agree on the mechanism for transferring the deposit and methods of its use, and the brothers’ proposal to allocate it to support the stability of the riel.
