A session brought together Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nezar Basoheib, representatives of the Coast Guards Authority and the UNDP held in the temporary capital Aden today, Wednesday.
The discussions focused on the joint collaboration and underway efforts to get the Maritime governance project implemented in full.
The project is funded by the EU and UK, implemented by the UNDP in coordination with the Yemeni coastguards authority. It is intended to reinforce the Yemeni coastguards' capacities through developing the coastguards' facilities, providing them with the required equipment.
