The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Badhib praised the significant contribution of the ADRA organization to the humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
He voiced his remark as he met today here in the temporary capital Aden with the Director of ADRA in Yemen Teri Vana Begnot.
Badhib stated that the Ministry is very keen to facilitate the actions of the international organizations which operate in humanitarian and relief field to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
