Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Tuesday with Omani Foreign Minister, Badr al-Bosaeedi activating mechanisms of Arab joint work and coordinating Arab positions in tightening security and stability in the region.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of his participation in the Ministerial Meeting of 158th Rounds of Arab League, BinMubarak discussed with Omani counterpart means of enhancing relations between the two countries and coordinating positions of the two countries in the common concerned issues.
He reviewed latest developments in Yemen on the light of extending UN Truce, clarifying commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council on making the truce successful despite all obstacles made by Houthi militia and neglecting implementation of its commitments included in the truce led by lifting its siege on Taiz city.
He pointed out to Houthi militia's barbaric attack on Dhabab Area, Taiz Province to cut the sole road linking Taiz with Aden.
For his part, Omani foreign minister renewed his country's position supporting Yemen's unity and sovereignty, expressing support to all international efforts to realize peace in Yemen.
