Yemen has participated in the meeting of the 110th Round of Economic Council on ministerial level hosted by Egyptian capital of Cairo for four days and concluded its activities Thursday.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Mohammad al-Ashwal headed the participating delegation in the round.
The first opening session headed by Ambassador of Morrocco Ahmad al-Tazi touched upon the final communique and signing Memo of Understanding between the General Secretariate of Arab Countries Council and Islamic International Foundation for Financing Trade.
The project of the 110th Round Agenda included report of the Secretary General, following up implementation decisions of the 109th Round, activities of the General Secretariate and report on following up implementation of Arab Fourth Development Summit.
The round's meetings touched upon program of assisting trade for Arab countries and Arab Big Free Trade Zone, improvements of Arab Custom Union, investment in Arab countries and problems facing informal economy in Arab countries.
