Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, received today a copy of the credentials of the non-resident Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Dang Sian Zheng.
During the meeting, bin Mubarak praised the strong friendship between the two countries and the importance of developing and strengthening them to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples and countries.
He stressed the ministry's keenness to provide all necessary facilities for the ambassador to successfully perform his duties in a way that enhances the strengthening of cooperative relations and pushes them to broader horizons.
Bin Mubarak briefed the Vietnamese ambassador on the latest developments in Yemen and the intransigence of the Houthis, their failure to implement the terms of the truce and their efforts to continue the war and threaten the security and stability of the region in order to serve the Iranian expansionist and subversive agendas.
