President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi received Sunday here Charge' D'Affairs of Russian Embassy in Yemen Yafghini Kodrove, discussing with him latest developments in Yemen and efforts of realizing peace in the country.

President al-Alimi praised mutual historical relations with Russia and Moscow's positions as permanent member in Security Council towards Yemeni people and its constitutional legitimacy.

He confirmed welcome of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of resumption of Russian diplomatic activities from the Transitional Capital of Aden for promoting unique relations between the two friendly countries and for fruitful cooperation and coordination.

For his part, the Russian diplomat confirmed commitment of Moscow of proceeding with its firm position towards Yemeni file and efforts aiming at realizing inclusive political settlement in Yemen.
